I can only be friends with a female who am not pysically/sexually attracted to and even then neither of us talk much or hang out(probably because we don't want to touch each other,). If am in lust with a chick and she's not in lust with me it drives me nuts being around her. I don't get why and feel like am being teased/lead on playing a game that sucks.

I'm just not into talking to/spending time hanging out with a chick who is doing someone else and does not want to have sex with me. It's just weird, she can go hang out with her boyfriend and do him.

I have friends I can call and hang out with. I really don't need that bullshit. I don't see why someone would keep caring.

A guy is most likely not going to be your friend. accept it

My hilariously low self esteem helps out with being friends with girls.
I always work with the attitude that "There's no chance she's gonna fuck me, so there's no point in trying to hold any feelings other than friendship".

I'm mates with some pretty hot people but it never really gets awkward or anything.

Because of changing conditions in my life I've never had a good long-term friendship. This has probably put some selfish influence on my nature.

Anyway, I'm friends with a lot of girls. I have had to tell some I only wanted to be friends, but none of them stopped talking to me or anything, which was nice. I have some friends that are guys, but I dislike having discussions about stuff I don't give a damn about, which they seem to discuss quite a bit.

I understand what you're saying, but she's right -- you have to realize this is the attitude of a guy who is in need, emotionally and sexually. So you're kind of both right... When one person wants something and the other doesn't, friendship isn't always going to work out, unfortunately. This sort of thing happens all the time, and yes, it's frustrating on either end.

Agreed. And then they try and pass you but decide to slow down, so there they are just riding right alongside you. Or they get in front of you because they think they're going faster than you, and then they slow down and you have to brake.

Spending a lot of time on the road like I do I get to see it all. Haven't been into Florida but with all the retirees and hispanics I am sure it is just as bad as the southwest.

It amazes me there aren't more accidents. People don't seem to be aware of the "No-Zone" around 18 wheelers, don't understand proper lane or passing etiquette, don't pay attention to their speed, traffic conditions, road signs, etc.

I hate it when somebody tries to get into relationships with you, - so they email you, IM you, sms you, call you once a minute and when they finally confess about their feelings and you mildly turn them down and explain that you just wanna be friends - they stop talking to you AT ALL. Like they've never existed in your life. Like - I wanna be your lover or fuck off. Where's the fucking logic? People suck.

It can be pretty painful to be around someone you have feelings for after they've turned you down. Especially if you're not good friends already it's not worth that. I don't think it's selfish to value your own emotional well-being over one friendship. Personally I have become friends with someone I at one time had a crush on and also gave up completely gave up on seeing someone after I found out they already had a boyfriend so both can be done.
