Video game music

I agree on whoever said Diablo 1\2, the music is really moody, and pretty complicated too at times (as far as I can remember). But the best game music I have ever heard is the main theme in Baldur's Gate 2 (I even got it on mp3 :) ).

Yes the Baldur's Gate 2 menu music is indeed asskicking. I have the entire game's soundtrack. I used to just sit there at times and zone out on the main menu because the music kicked my ass so much.

for the amount of time spent in Morrowind, i think that with the relatively small amount of music they used, they did it fairly well. you didn't notice the repetition for a while, and when you did, it didn't get in the way unless you played the game to death... like i did.

I finished almost every quest in the game and along with the 2 expansion packs. I was a Morrowind nut too. :D

Well...I did miss the odd worthless quest where you get a mere pittance for escorting someone somewhere or whatever.

Seems alot of people are. The freeform nature of the game really hit home with alot of people. I finished Tribunal and the actual game itself, but Bloodmoon came out after I stopped playing. It stops being fun when you can lockpick your way into vivec's temple and kick his ass any day of the week.

The next Elder Scrolls game looks like it's going to be majorly ass-kicking. Not only that, but Bethesda are developing Fallout 3 aswell. Joyous days.

It became too easy when I had a collection of Daedric stuff that i threw around like old newspapers cause my own enchanted items owned all over them. i had a constant-effect levitation amulet so walking was worthless.

in the beginning though, stealing the sword of white woe was really great, cause it was the first useful weapon i could get. then there was magebane, etc etc etc. great game.

I'd usually just get a Daedric Claymore and enchant it so it did about 50+ lightning damage over 1 second, and I'd use a really high Grand Soul Gem so it had plenty of charge. Beats every enemy in the game pretty easily though.

And levitation becomes pretty redundant when you get Boots of Crippling Speed and a high acrobatic skill. You can then leap off most hills and cover a lot of distance. Especially as a Vampire. :p

Non-linear is win.

vampirism was definitely fun. as was flying through the air matrix-style and beating someone's face through with Veloth's Judgment before they could say "nwah!"

anyone else think RPGs are irritating? real ones i mean, not Goldeneye, Halo-type shooters. just asking.

i avoided Fable because the reviews illuminated how shit it was compared with all the hype.

and actually dorian, i'm a RPG addict. most games i play are RPG. but i also like a good FPS. action/platform games bore me.

whats an "action/platform" game? give me an example.
ive always played sports games - they never get old. i just could never get into RPGs.
