Of course it doesn't really matter, they could play whatever song they want. As you said it's awesome anyways.
There are just some personal favourites you'd like to see/hear even more then some others. Complaining on a very high level I would say :D

Still got to learn the new lyrics till tomorrow ^^

They could even play some Lady Gaga :p

Am I the only one who thinks that those words from slaves of fear are holy words and should be thought at school and in every religious institution?

Your minds are restrained
Obedience is the chain
They've locked you up and thrown away the key
Your souls are for sale,
And you're the ones who pay
But still, you'll never be set free

They're feeding you lies
With calculating smiles
Enslavement of the human mind
As long as you kneel to their authority
Religion is what makes you blind

Yep you're sorta right. But still, if you're atheist you find out soon enough

i'll explain.

i thought i had injured my shoulder at the gym because i was training 6 days a week.

within a couple of weeks two big lumps started rapidly growing just above my left collar bone and near my neck. went to the doctor who sent me to get an ultrasound. had the ultrasound the following day and the doctor called me that afternoon whilst i was at work and told me to come in for an emergency appointment. i knew something was up.

said the ultrasound showed that the lumps indicated a strong possibility of being lymphoma which is a type of cancer. she made an appointment for me to see an oncologist the following day.

cut a long story short, had a few tests (ct scans, PET scans, blood tests), had the lumps removed (surgery, got a cool scar on my neck!) and i was diagonsed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma (cancer). it is also in my chest but they aren't going to operate to remove that as it is a little risky.

the good thing is that it is very curable and treatable with a 90% success rate :) it's a bit annoying being stuck at home and not working but i am coping by listening to a lot of metal and reading. still, i tend to go a bit silly when i'm not using my brain!

i have another 7 treatments of chemotherapy then 6 weeks of radiotherapy, 5 days a week. i am in very good spirits and i've already beaten it in my mind :)

cheers gang :)

I don't know you but I'm sure you'll beat it!! At least sounds like you're on the way there

sorry to hear that

I'm sure all will be alright, take care and make good use of that time off

i'll explain.

thanks guys! it picked the wrong warrior to mess with :)

i agree Gnoff. having AA come back down here would be the best way to celebrate beating it!

i'll keep you all posted. my mates find it hard to comprehend how strong and positive i've been about the whole thing. i spent a couple of years in darkness and managed to slay my way out of that, so this is just another hurdle i have to overcome.

i love a challenge :)

Good to hear you staying positive, get over that bitch and back to kicking lawyer ass :D

On something completely different:
I might go to Metaltown festival starting tomorrow in Gothenburg, I thought I'd skip it, but now it seems my brain has changed its mind.
We'll see what happens.

Keep your spirits up, man- I have a friend who went through this type of Lymphoma so I got the insider's story already. She told me her specialists said it is a type of cancer that is most common in young people, but very rarely life threatening unless it's combined with something else, or far too advanced- the higher up in the body, the more treatable, apparently (hers was at the base of the neck, by the collarbone).

She was diagnosed in June and by December she was already in remission. She said what she found most frustrating was the sheer lack of support from some agencies. Apparently so many people falsely claim to have cancer that the system is fed up with requests for financial support. Why someone would pretend that, I don't know, but it happens.

So, keep positive and strong- I'm sure you'll be back in that gym before you know. My friend is doing the inca trail next year for charity. :)
