They've had a pretty good impact on the genre overall while still having made a decent amount of good albums. That seems respectable to me.

Ok I'll bite on the Louder than hell debate. I like brothers of metal, gods made heavy metal, number 1 & king [get me pumped], outlaw, my spirit lives on and power. Maybe I just like it a lot because I use it as workout music or pre-workout music.
