What do you see as a 'disgrace' to metal music? Why?

I've been to America many a times and my father owns several properties in Florida so I'm somewhat aware. I've addressed my reasons above for why I think its better. You may actually be the one with an insular view of Canada, whatever utlra-progressive non-sense you have here - it is 2x as bad in Canada OR Western Europe - I guarantee you [except maybe parts of Cali]

You're forgetting that if the DNC wasn't such a corrupt institution, we'd have Bernie Sanders as our president. I probably do have an insular view of Canada, but I don't really give a shit about Canada nor do I intend to migrate there.

Republicans and more conservative Democrats would have stonewalled the fuck out of Bernie though.

The Bernie Sanders part is probably true - and to be honest even I respect him because I believe he at least believes in what he says even if I strongly disagree with him on some issues. I respect that more than anything else out of principle [except if your a communist or literal nazi than you can just die no matter what],. However I don't think it takes away from the fact that huge parts of America are ok compared to Canada which are not, in the leftist sorts if you catch my drift.

Bernie is barely even a radical. Americans screech about him as if he'll usher in a socialist hellhole, yet he thinks his socialist ideas are the same as Denmark's. He's a social democrat that thinks he's a democratic socialist. He's a confused dipshit basically.

1000000000% true. Still puts him a step above the devil herself for at least being an honest piece of shit. Or an honest but confused one.

I actually liked Bernie tbh, but a lot of his ideas were pretty radical in an American context. Scaling Denmark level socialism to an American size is virtually impossible.

That specific policy yes, but the total package I don't know that he is.

Germany and other European nations have seen conservative parties win favor over the last few decades and curtail government spending. Sanders is to the left of those parties.

He said he supported tax rates as high as 90% in another interview.

FDR and his successors in Truman and Eisenhower were leftists btw. America and most of the rest of the world has been on a gradual right-ward shift since the 70s.

I just thought that was strange to pinpoint has being distinctly radical. I don't see any issue with that graduated rate so long as it's place at an appropriately high level.

The highest income tax brackets in Europe right now are around 60%.

He's to the left of conservative parties in Europe? Did I read that right?

Yes. I have a feeling you're about to say something stupid again so I'll restate what I've just said:

Sanders is to the left of the standards of many (not all) European nations. The standard of a given European nation is best represented by the political powers in charge. European nations have gradually seen success of their more conservative parties since the 90s and 00s. Therefore, Sanders would be a left-wing candidate even in most of Europe.

This is actually what I was thinking you were implying but I get confused easily so I just wanted to make sure.
