What have the ND band members been listening to lately?

I've basically been listening to everything...the new Obituary, Swallow the Sun, Nevermore, Dream Theater, Porcupine Tree then going back and listening to some old school death metal like Cancer, Cynic, Morgue, Entombed, Malevolent Creation etc...some brutal stuff like Pyaemia, Insision, Hate etc, random other metal, some 70s stuff like Mahavishnu Orchestra, Emerson Lake and Palmer, The Beatles, Gracious...

I can't wait for the new Opeth, Subterranean Masquerade, Arcturus...

I need to get ahold of more sigur ros, godspeed you black emperor and coldplay. I can't download at the moment so I'm gonna see if I can find of these albums for cheap...if any of you guys can recommend some great ones, feel free!

I don't like HIM because of female appeal, crossover appeal, or any type of appeal other than the appeal their music has on me personally. My comment earlier was that I don't hold it against the band if they in fact appeal to young girls. As much as it might be deemed silly by some to consider a band's female appeal to be something to applaud, I think it's equally as silly when guys will dismiss a band or call them "faggots" or something because they're a "girly" band. I judge a band by their music first and foremost, image and what have you comes secondary.

And I like goth chicks, of all shapes and sizes. Some of them are very cool to me, so be nice =)

Nice musical interests there, Dreadful. We have alot in common with our tastes, that's cool. Glad you're enjoying the forum and all as well.

Eh I can relate Dan. Despite being laid off, it's so hard for me to find time for AIM-ing. yeah sure I rock the message boards but three minutes at a time does not equal good real time conversation.
Still haven't heard Methadrone. But this Sub Masq is friggin' awesome.

This fat goth chick was horrid. You see... she "liked rough sex." So she'd use all kinds of teeth. That's cool and all but it does sensitize the skin a bit. Therefore, following it up by teasing with a tongue ring = tickling to the point of peeing.
 
haha Paul... you need to bear in mind that it's my personality which sucks and not my appearance. Therefore, luring chicks to my fuckstick wasn't hard. Now getting them to stay past the 2nd hour of my lecture about the history of Carebears ... THAT was tricky.
