Just a follow-up thought: I would encourage you or anyone else who's going to be in a room with just 1-2 other people to try different hotels that we don't know about yet. That way we'll have better info/references for next year. For example, there's a Holiday Inn Express that's like 2-3 blocks from the Sonar and appears to be cheaper than Tremont. Unless you consider it important for you to be able to move quickly back and forth between the GMD room/s and your own, it would be nice to have people experiment with hotels for us.

ATTN people wanting to share a room for MDF:

I'm assuming I'll be the title holder for one of these rooms as I was last year, so I'd like to find out who's interested in sharing with me. I'd prefer people who are planning to be in town on Thursday for our pre-MDF 'activity day' so that I won't be stuck with a huge payment for the hotel on that day. Also I'd like 21+ old peeps in the room. Please let me know ASAP if you want to share a room with me and/or come to Baltimore on Thursday.

Also, I finally put together a tally of people in the OP with up-to-date info on everyone's going/sharing statuses, so keep an eye on that as the 'fest date nears.

I will be arriving in Baltimore on Thursday at 4:34pm. I am definitely willing to pay my share of the cost for that day. I don't know if you fellas will be out and about when I arrive, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to partake in the Thursday activities, but I'll definitely be in town.

Yep, my classes should be done with weeks before the fest and I don't any real reason not to be there by Thursday. I don't really care who I share a room with. I am a little girl who needs sleep so after each night I'll probably crash but I'll try to hang out with you guys as much as possible.

Depending on whether or not I get promoted by that time and if I can get it off, I might not be coming up until Friday evening/early morning. Chances are I'll be up there Friday morning to start boozin' and getting prepped for some heavy fucking metal though.

Just talked to the girlfriend and we're probably going to stay at the Mount Vernon hotel which is about 3/10ths of a mile farther from the sonar and it has a cheap nightly rate.

But, she plans on buying a house before then, so we might not be getting a hotel there.
