Nah I was joking actually, I never went to an Opeth live so if I was to see a band opening for Opeth, I just couldn't wait for them to get out of the stage.
Except, like I said, Tool or PT (I know that it's unlikely for Tool but, that was just a wish).

Yeah same. They haven't played live since those bm days and even then it wasn't a very common occurrence. Garm sung live recently with the side project he did with Aethenor recently which was his first time playing live in over a decade.

Mastodon is more than likely infinitely more popular (in record sales terms) than Neurosis is, but they still opened for Neurosis...thus why I believe Opeth would end up opening as well, if a tour like that got put together. Same with Opeth opening for Enslaved.
