I've never seen Slayer live, but I saw Metallica on the St. Anger tour and I actually thought it was very good. They only played one song from St. Anger (Frantic ) and they played all the songs perfectly and ran around and all that good stuff. It was an all around good show. Not to say Slayer is worse, because I haven't seen them. But I think Metallica is still good live, regardless of their songwriting ability.

slayer kicks a lot of ass live. theyre loud and if you're up front it gets so incredibly hot because of everyones body heat it just sucks. youll be sore afterwards.


metallica on the other hand....well, theyre not bad live, but it feels more corporate than metal.
