It was cool, I think they had some interesting stuff going on musically, and some great rhythms. At the same time, it did not feel so dramatically unique or different from other things I've heard that I can really recall the songs. That said, it is completely metal in the right ways and a complete fist the face of posers.

I will attempt to listen to Municipal Waste more in the future to render an objective view... so far, every attempt just makes me want to listen to Whiplash.

I've seen em live a few times, decent show. Haven't really listened to them outside of shows though. For example, I picked up one of their CD the last time I saw them, and haven't even opened up the wrapping yet. Oh, and I have a shirt laying around somewhere, they were selling them for 5 bucks or something like that, and you can never have enough shirts.

Now that song is damn awesome -- Kostogher is easily his best record. But I'm sad to say that I don't have very high expectations for the new one. With the title Anti-Kosmos and his close connections to Dissection, I don't really expect anything else than Reinchaos pt. II. But don't get me wroing, that album is good, but that's not the kind of music that I want to hear from Arckanum.

I'm trying to get hold of Kostogher on cd. I have Kampen and Fran Marder already. I know about the reissue that is rumored to come out but I would prefer the original.

Yeah, I have those too, but I've given up on Kostogher. It's so damn expensive the few times that it's availible and I already have the B&E vinyl edition.
Hm, strange coincidence: there actually was some guy at the Helgon community who offered it for sale in the sale thread in the BM forum a few days ago, but I didn't bother.
