I have heaps of bands like this, I mention I like them and people get shocked, like i as incapable of liking them.

I remember shocking one of my teachers in high school a couple of years back when I made a comment about Sinatra while he was on the radio. I guess she didn't pick me as a casual fan, since I used to wear metal shirts to school and the like.

Michael Jackson would be the main one for me.

People are often shocked when I tell them that I'm into metal, which is why I don't bother talking about metal to normal people anymore. I just say I like classic rock and stuff like that.

Yeah me too Spiffy. When people ask my fav bands and I say 'Iced Earth, Grave Digger, Megad..etc' they look at me like I am from another planet, so now I often don't bother.
