Best to See Live?

Amon Amarth would be fun to see -- crazy ass windmilling!
And Dimmu Borgir would be cool too. Theyre amazing, I especially love their vocals! Has anyone seen them?

Opeth, Porcupine Tree, Ensiferum, Down, Turisas, Lamb of God just to name a few. Pantera were always a great live band back in the day. I seen them over ten times and they never failed to disappoint. Especially with Slayer.

Helloween is really enjoyable live. Turisas and Ensiferum are excellent too.

Iced Earth was pretty damn good 2 days ago as well.

I've seen Dimmu a few times. They put on a pretty good live show.

Overkill (Vocalist absolutely rips through the songs live. Even better so than in studio)
Megadeth (Vocals aren't really good except back in the day, but the agression factor is X10)
Rush (They even make their 80s output amazing)

They sucked with Behemoth. Keep of Kalessin were good tho'.

I probably should've mentioned that this was about 1999-2001 when I saw them so I have no idea if they've gotten worse over the years.

Blitz is defanitly at the top of my "best frontmen" list. The man has awesome stage presence. All he has to do is stand at the mic stand, headbang and sing and he still looks badass.

i saw motorhead at wacken and they sucked 'cause they were first band on and they were quiet as fuck

Dillinger Escape Plan are easily the most intense live band I've seen.
Metallica and Slayer both put on awesome shows with awesome sound and played all the songs I wanted to hear.
Coroner were an amazing live band when I saw them, their playing and the sound was utterly flawless.
Same goes for Cynic.
Suffocation are really entertaining live.
Isis are another really good live band.

Man, I would love to see Iced Earth live. If they were halfway as decent on Alive in Athens, then it would be awesome. But I think the Masters of Metal tour will be better.

The first time I seen them was their 07' tour and they were good but their recent tour there was something lacking. They rushed the setlist and seemed bored.
