All great albums. You might not want to buy the recent, widely circulated re-releases of Mütiilation, though, as they are disapproved bootlegs, and you'd be supporting someone who's trying (and succeeding) to making a quick buck at Mütiilation's (and most of the other bigger LLN bands') recent rise in popularity, contrary to the wishes of the bands & their labels. Then again, you probably don't care.

actually i despise bootlegs (which is one of the reasons i've yet to check out moonblood), but as always ill do more research. i listened to random samples provided, and that sort vokter is terribly produced though apparently that was the bands intention. eh.

Evil as fuck. Need to check out the earlier stuff

Sort Vokter - Folkloric Necro Metal
Must have the worst production in the history of things being produced. The music is actually tranquil, if that makes sense. The ambient piece is especially nice. Good eerie keyboards. Barked vocals. Is this what Ildjarn is like?

Is Abruptum worth looking into?
Horn of Valere?
Suturs Lohe?

Oblomov fucking slays. You need to hear the shit from their demos. It topples mighty cosmic dances.

Who is this? I just listened, and I believe it to be quite good. There's a pretty Burzumized part in the middle of track 11 but the rest of the song isn't really related to Burzum.

Hirilorn sucks. They're definitely not my thing. I don't like all that story telling crap in the middle of a song. I understand some of you guys like feel like your on some viking battleship listening to inspirational instructions from the head viking, but that's just gay to me.
