Black Metal.

Dude, I'm pretty hammered right now, but the new sample of the Inquisition track is just phenomenal. I don't care if I fucking spelled that shit wrong either. Check that shit out on their myspace.

Holy shit, this song is killer.

EDIT: and holy fucking shit again; not black metal but I feel it's appropriate. This was just announced on Profound Lore's website:

And here's a sampling:

Agreed.

Chord progression was ok, but otherwise it's a Jack Daniels commercial.

I think some of you guys will find value in this link.

I've known the guy for a few years now, and he's quite trustworthy. There are some real deals in the $5 cd section, black metal and otherwise. Really fair pricing all the way around. And for the Profound Lore talk earlier, no one mentioned his band Dawnbringer, which has a new album out.

Bought some stuff off him today, too cheap to pass up.

> NOKTURNAL MORTUM - Goat Horns - The End
> SIGH - Imaginary Sonicscape - The End
> NUNSLAUGHTER - Hex CD - HHR
> SILENCER - Death Pierce Me - Autopsy Kitchen

For $24 total

This new Enslaved album is great. I'm impressed at how strong the vocal lines are. However, it's nowhere near as proggy as I was led to believe here. References to Porcupine Tree and Morningrise-era Opeth were not at all apt. It does resemble the last couple Opeth albums at times.

I really hated it the first time I heard it. Only because of the clean vocals. It is growing on me a bit, but I feel like this is only out of my own necessity to listen to something...different/new.

I went to FYE a few days after it was released, and the album is already on sale.

New Enslaved is great, but not black metal, they haven't really been black metal in years, still a fucking great band though and the clean vocals are awesome.

Listening to the new Melechesh on youtube now, sounds fucking A.

Dont know what to think of this:

Gorgoroth said:
"GORGOROTH will spend the following week in [drummer] Tomas Asklund's Monolith Studio to put the finishing touches on a project which has been kept secret until now: a complete re-recording of the band's third album, 'Under The Sign Of Hell'.

"It has long been Infernus' [guitar] wish to do such a re-recording, and now the work is close to an end. No release date has been set yet, but an early-to-mid-2011 release is likely.

"In addition, the time in the studio will be spent working on the still-untitled next GORGOROTH full-length album, tentatively scheduled for a late 2011 release. Both albums will be released by Regain Records."

Under The Sign Of Hell is my favourite album by them so it will be interesting to hear what this new version will sound like, although I think Under The Sign sounds good as it is so i would have thought they would have rerecorded one of their older albums instead.
