Black Metal.

anybody familiar with the Black Twilight Circle and if anything related to it being worth its grit?

Yeah, a lot of their releases are surprisingly good.

Check out

Arizmenda - everything, the best band in their 'circle'

Odz Manouk - s/t

Volahn - Dimensiones del Trance Kosmico

Also check out their predecessor, Rhinocervs nameless releases, by most account .

yea i'm using some crappy headphones atm. the audio leans kind of right. Maybe i can just throw it into ableton and create my own master. I've been running some LP's through my SP 404 to get some bitcrush on em. Shit slays!

I know so many old heads who've destroyed their hearing over the years. I try to be conservative with headphone use, but it's hard when I have to pretty much live in the library these days.

Dude, I'm so weary of fucking my hearing up after being on this forum and hearing all the horror stories.

If it makes you feel any better, mine is equal parts loud music and working in a machine shop for 2 years and its pretty tolerable for the most part. occasionally get a spike.

I've never been much of a headphones guy and loud concerts are a rarity here in Perth so by pure random luck my hearing is still quite perfect.

But every now and then I get ear pops or a sharp ear pain in one ear and I freak out.

... no clue and none of the doctors that i've seen have helped me out in the least. I've narrowed it down to either major stress i was going through at the time, a sinus infection that i had, some type of incorrect shoulder/back workout, or some ibuprofen(which is known to be ototoxic) i took for the pain i was experiencing from said workout session

I never blast my music and don't go to shows anymore so it definitely isn't sound related. But my hearing/ears are more sensitive now and i get temporary spikes(few seconds to minutes) from loud noises.
