Have you even heard any other Burzum albums besides DSEV? That's the only one I've seen you mention. I can't wait until you deside that "Det Som Engang Var" is the greatest song ever and talk about it for weeks (like GoD).

HLTO and filosofem. Det som is my favorite, others kick ass as well.

Det Som Engang Var is a far different style than Filosofem and Hvis Lyset Tar Oss. I have a hard time choosing my favourite out of those three, it all depends on my mood.

vs.

Gorgoroth's Under the Sign of Hell

Both landmark albums for the respective black metal bands; both albums were pretty solid, I think and certainly have their moments at the very least. Production-wise, they are somewhat similar and the guitarwork in both albums are different for sure. Gorgoroth sounding more thrashy in that particular album while Burzum sounding just plain black metal and slower paced. Vocals...well, thats up to you to decide.

The two albums are too hard for me to choose, I'll say Gorgoroth.

Considering that Under The Sign Of Hell is my favorite album from Gorgoroth, and DSEV is not in my top 3 for Burzum, I will go with Under The Sign. But I don't think any of Gorgoroth's others would have won... maybe Antichrist.
