Now, I suppose whether you value that opinion depends to some degree on whether you agree with my thoughts on the above piece of music.

Regarding, De Magia Veterum I have no idea what the fuck I just listened to - but it wasn't something pleasant.

That's even one of the less dense songs on there. It took a good few listens to wrap my head around that release, but once I was able to follow it I found a lot to like. I definitely didn't find it an easy listen at first.

Both great bands. Monarque and Forteresse are some other good French Canadian black metal bands.

No one ever talks about Sorcier Des Glaces, magnifique! Granted the production on Snowland is really bad, and not in the normal way, but the sound goes up and down in a weird way. If you can get past that however, the music is splendid.
