Bloodbath just revived my...

Yes we wouldn´t even heard if it wasn´t them.

SO? Luckily we did.

SO? You just proved MacMoney's point. If four unknowns had released RTC, no one would have cared, but since it's everyone's favorite super-group, it gets raves.

The point is that even if it sounded exactly the same and everyone on this forum would've been forced to listen to it one time through, most would just call the vocalist an Åkerfeldt ripoff and forget about the band.

Its not about if they are evil or not, you dumb fucks

RTC is a great , and someone who apreciates the good music should like it, because its a masterpiece

What...people start booing music they like? You make it sound like some evil marketing scam that people keep falling for. This is a good thing! We're lucky! You didn't miss out. In fact, because everyone liked those first few songs so much, they decided to recorded a full-length. But no, instead of being glad that you heard of it through Opeth, you look down upon it because you didn't have to search the dark depths of the musical industry first. It was handed to you instead. :err: This is silly.

Yeah, sure...but it IS Åkerfeldt, so your point seems pointless.

No, what the guy said was, if four unknowns had released it, nobody would have heard it. He didn't say whether they'd give it "raves" or not, he said they wouldn't have heard it. Which is true. If me and 3 of my friends had recorded music that was exactly the same as the music on RTC, nobody here would have heard it, am I wrong?

By the way, what business is it of yours why somebody likes the album? If you don't like it, don't listen to it.

Haha, way to completely contradict yourself. Beautifully done. "I think that's a shoe right there. I'm not saying it's something you wear on your foot or anything..."
