It seems they've been on every somewhat pagan themed metal tour to roll through here recently, although they've switched names to Blackguard now.
One of the guitarists seems to be quite the asshole, but the other members of the band seem quite nice. The vocalist is a riot to drink with.

That post was from 2007, I started liking them because they opened for Moonsorrow, and were still somewhat fun back then. They are all kinda nice, but they are "hey I'm nice so like my band" nice, and are really bad at hiding it I've not cared for anything they've really done since Emilie left, they were a gimmick band who decided they could thrive without their gimmick. I doubt they'll ever headline their own tour outside of this small section in Canada. (unless they have already, then my hope for the metal community has officially died).

I still have their shirt with the really old logo, its fucking huueegg on me : /

That last time I seen them, everyone in the band seemed to be developing a little bit of an ego. Where this comes from, I don't know, since I doubt they have a huge fan base, or anything like that. (Even if they were to have a huge fan base, it's still not an excuse for being egotistical and snooty to people.)
I didn't mind their music, but seeing their attitudes at the last show they played has kind of turned me off of them. :Smug:

I only heard their debut album. It was really fucking boring.
Though I grew out of that whole scene, other than some shows with freind's guestlisting me, I've not seen a concert since the first Paganfest came by.
