"Dead man's hand on you" is a MASTERPIECE! Best Bodom song sooooooo far.
This album is the best album since like... forever, its maybe better than FTR!
Its really great to see a song like that, because its so fresh and new and "Bodomish", I can see the reaper moving in the darkness among the trees waiting for the perfect moment to strike down with his deadly scythe.
Other songs just blow. Cant wait.

The intro to Bodom Blue Moon sounds amazing, as does One Bottle and a Knee Deep.
Got a real Dark Tranquillity feeling out of Dead Man's Hand on You.

So far, hype intensifies. What I need now is that the solos are up to snot.

Holy fuck these samples sound good, I love the Scream For Silence one the most, it reminds me a bit of the band Eluveitie. And The Days Are Numbered sounds like something taken straight out of Hatebreeder.

And also as no doubt the biggest IF fan on this forum I can agree that the vocals does sound similar to Anders mumbly/whispery voice especially used throughout Clayman, but the music didn't sound like Dead Eternity, not in my opinion.

Something positive as well is that the samples doesn't really have the best quality, which means it will sound even more awesome.

No doubt in my mind now that this album is going to be REALLY good. I already feel that a bunch of those songs are instant classics.

After the samples I don't see this album on my favourite list, but this is a improvement for the past few albums. I don't mean that this album is going to be any better than the ones before, but this is a good change. Though I'm really looking forward for few songs, but there were also few horrible tracks. I think Halo Of Blood starts a new era in the history of Bodom. SW-FTR, HCDR - RRF, HOB ->
I probably get back here when the next album is coming out, but until then I think Im going to just listen my own Hatebreeder :3 Im not waiting anything from this band anymore, cya!

It's the metal colibri bird dancing in the air. Then it's eaten by a beast, but it hard to swallow with the feathers. I'm sorry if COB read about my metal colibri and find the song annoying to play after that... I just honestly don't see what musical purpose this intro "melody" serves. Is it there to make the following riff appear more grim? I don't know.

I don't think we'll ever get to know that, I was actually surprised Alexi said that one is about Tonmi, as far as we know he's always preferred to keep personal matters to his own. Like for example, he's said one song is dedicated to somebody he doesn't like very much but refrained from saying who it is:

One particularly standout lyric appears in ‘Your Days Are Numbered’, that being, “Watch the sun going down like the whore that you are.” After enjoying a good chuckle, Alexi confesses, “well, the song is just dedicated to somebody I don’t like very much; let’s just put it that way.”
