WTF awesome news. I don't really like The Hate Chamber though, I've given it a ton of chances but it just sounds way too overbearing and long like it's trying too hard...the first album is so fucking awesome though...one of the best modern death metal albums for sure (even though it's old sounding).

I like The Hate Chamber more than the first album but the problem is that Dan Swano does not really showcase what he's capable of as a musician anymore(only in Nightingale), he's never went full out on any Death Metal band he has been involved with since EoS. I would be a lot more floored if he actually wrote some riffs or even a song or two than just adding some keys and solo's on an album where he feels are neccesary.

Side note* I get sick of waiting for Rogga's shit to come out lately and it's annoying.

I'm fully aware Demilich is old school death metal...except they really dont sound like any other death metal band I've ever heard. He asked for guttural death metal like Demilich... I feel like it doesnt exist, so I acted accordingly.

Far out, the last time I heard Slugathor was abit 3 years ago and I remember them being crushing and just overall awesome. I need to get right back in and find some of their stuff to listen to again.

Their debut is cool actually, although a lotta people got into them with Circle of Death on here, as far as I know.

I only got into them recently based on a recommendation from UMF. Loving the new album in a big way, one of the best albums this year.

Ray, Circle of Death fucking rules and is one of the best death metal albums in the last 5 years. I would say to give it more time. I think it was a noticeable step up from their prior work, which I also enjoy. I'm still waiting for a US distro to stock their new one without selling out in a fucking day.
