I agree with Necrovation being bland. Also Nocturnal Graves or whatever the fuck they're called and Dead Congregation. DC is obviously influenced by Immortal, but I'd rather have Immortal.
 
Canada's Weapon announces a new album. Embers and Revelations, due October 9 of this year. Rather enjoyed From the Devil's Tomb, this should be good.

I'm not much into black metal stuff but that Goatwhore album is excellent. Had a chance to see them headlining for that album's tour fairly recently and they do a great job live. Good band.

Lucky. When they were on tour for the album, i wasn't into them. Now i'm into them, and they're not on tour :(

Hmm. Wasn't this already out on vinyl for some time? I picked up mine at a shop, everything shown there is the same short of their wax being dark red.


Between Drawn & Quartered, Necrovation, and Desecresy i've been pretty content with Death Metal for the last blast here.
