Suffocation is way past their peak/prime. Unless they gain some commercial success gaining in album sales and following do not think they are going to follow this album up. It's cool in sense they are reformed and care enough to put out albums, but they're just not the same band.

Yea, I'm a Portal fanboy. I have all three of their albums on cd and vinyl and a shirt. Cant wait for that.

I've recently heard a lot about this band, especially on this forum, however have never heard of them. What would you recommend by these guys? I love me some good Death Metal.

Outre first, then swarth and seepia. Portal is also a band best listened to in a full album, not a single YouTube track.

If you like their style of death metal, also look into mitichodrion - parasignosis and abyssal - denoument
