Any fans of Rivers of Nihil here? I was reading through the reviews section in last months decibel and came across a review of their latest album, which sounded kind of interesting. What's the verdict on them?

Yeah, I don't really think of it as old. It's obviously from 93 but it sounds fresh as fuck in my book.

I don't think of it as an oldie because Death are a pretty old band even by that point.

Well it's a 20+ year old classic ... so it's definitely old. It's not OSDM though, and that's the sound most people associate with early/"old" death metal with.
