They have nothing in common with Darkthrone except perhaps for the fact that both bands have norwegian members and both bands use guitar, drums, bass and vocals.

I have to admit he is technically very good drummer. But he sounds too sterile and machine-like. If you want drumming like that, they could as well use a machine.
