Edwards is ESP, its just the japenese versions, well as far as ive read, they do look better, but i cant find where to get them in America.

In Japan, there aren't ESP Standard Series, only Custom Shop. So, Edwards = ESP Standard for Japan.

And yeah, most of the Edwards guitars are better than LTD's.

its the same when i say that ltd is esp standard in korea or in south africa arent middle-class citizens, only upper-class ppl. so under-class ppl. are middle-class ppl. whopper are sold out - burger king only got double-whopper and hamburger so hamburger are whopper. pff

2. either all edwards ar better or none cause the only different is the color and the inlays.

That isn't fucking stupid. Did you ever play the Edwards, a LTD 1000 and an ESP STD? LTD's are made by machines, the ESP's/Edwards' aren't.

It isn't the same when you say that LTD's are ESP Standard's in Korea etc. LTD's are sold all over the world, Edwards is for Japan domestic market only, because they can't get ESP Standard's. Only Custom Shop. And they're a bit expensive. So ESP makes cheaper guitars with another name, like.. a subsidiary company. We don't really "need" Edwards, because we have the ESP Standards here.

1. Yes, I did. The SV is the best of those three in my opinion, but the Edwards is nearly as good as the SV, the SV is better "worked up".. you know.. no mistakes in binding and paint etc.

3. I'm not trying to argue. And can you proof your statement? I say that from my "own" experience, and from what I heard from other guys from Japan. Luna Sea from the ESP boards does know a lot about ESP's, he says that stuff about ESP/Edwards etc. I know another guy from Japan, he also says that. And I think they should know that.

5. Hm.. let's say it this way: ESP Custom/Original > Edwards > LTD. That's Japan. And here: ESP Custom/Original> ESP Standard > LTD. We don't actually get Edwards' here, and Japan doesn't get ESP Standard's. So I'd say Edwards represents the ESP Standard Series in Japan.

I have a RV, SV and an Edwards at home and already played the Alexi 600 in the shop. I think I can do a comparison!

The Edwards is slightly better than the LTD, in my eyes. The SV is a little bit better than the Edwards and the RV...quess what, is the best out of those 4!

And it's true: Edwards are build in the same halls as ESP. And they are the "cheap" production line for the japanese market, such as LTD is the "cheap" line for the export market.
So you can compare the quality of ESP and Edwards!

...One thing bothers me about the hype over handmade guitars...and that thing is that, humans can make mistakes, machines make a mistake probably once every year or less...

So just in my opinion if the specs were exactly the same on a guitar and I had the choice between it being machine made or man made, I would choose machine made.

It's an issue of that a machine doesn't care about any deatils. A craftman can decide if something is good enough or not. If a guitar is being handmade by someone it gets more into details and gets corrected if something is not 100&#37;.
