Testament isn't really in crowd at all tbh. I will say Demonic will be last in my list and Dark Roots of Earth is their best album post The Ritual.

Indeed but the nature of the game is that you might have to make a list featuring a non in-crowd band sometimes, so I'm just curious to see what happens in that context.

Exodus aren't an in-crowd band but Bonded by Blood is considered an in-crowd album, I wonder if a similar thing will play out here.

Barely 2 years ago this would have triggered me, now it just seems so obviously true.

It sounds stupid but its basically the band doing a cover album of their older material. I dont actually get what the purpose of this kind of release is.

Makes a case for not including it as Slayer's covers album didn't get included in their rankings, haha. Maybe it was partly for nostalgia. There's also the case where a band pointlessly re-records one studio album, such as Girlschool - Hit and Run.
