I hate the inlays on those. Why couldn't they just put normal sharkfins?? Otherwise they're cool, although I might get rid of the extra things on the hors(yeah, classic RR shape FTW IMO).

No it really isn't. Some pickups boost the bass more, giving the guitar a warmer and fatter tone.
