hey, this seems to be pretty cool songwriting with a lot of cool riffs.

constructive criticism:
- improve the sound quality
- more tightness
- check your bendings and vibrato so that the listener hears that you know what you do

About the jam: I'm not sure if I can participate. I tried to improvise over the track and came up with a few pretty good ideas but overall it just sounds bad (to me atleast). I will probably give it another shot this weekend but I'm not promising anything.

Yeah, I use V-Amp and I also used some EQ in Adobe Audition to tweak the sound a little bit.

Which particular soundfonts have you found to be the best Epi? I think Hard Drums is the best kit i've heard so far, and i actually like your tone on She is beatuiful.

"HardDrums" is pretty good yeah but I've been using the "jd_rockkit1". I think it's the best I've heard so far although the open hi-hat sounds kinda poor.

Epi, I still think you should join in. It took me a good few hours (lol?) to come up with something I was happy with and your GP4 solo on that jam we did in the tab thread was top notch, I'm sure you could match it if you wanted to.

Cool recording too, I still like the rhythm tone.

Hey guys, I was wondering if I might get some advice from some of the guru's here.

I'm still looking to buy my first serious guitar, and after playing alot of Jacksons, Ibanez's, and ESP Ltd's I actually decided that I think I would buy a Cort Custom X instead, as it has the seymour duncon invader pickups and is pretty sweet to play all for about £600. I was originally considering holding out till I could afford a some EMG 81 actives but are they really that much better than Seymour Duncans ? Or is it just preference ?

I couldn't really say that I preffered the EMG's when playing with them (Even if they do look fucking sexy).

Anything really. Most people have just saved in mp3 @ 128kbps but you can upload in wave if you want, I wouldn't even notice the difference.
