Sorry for the double post but I want to participate in the forum jam too.How does it work and how do I record all my shit the right way and stuff? oh and don't worry I suck too so I'll make all of you look good. I'm probably the shittiest player on the forum so far but at least I've got good gear.

How does it work

The people here decide on a backing track, each player gets a certain amount of second to solo over, you make a solo. Record it, send only the solo (without backing track) to Mitch. Mitch puts everything together, each solo after another, puts the whole thing up for download. Done.

Audacity can actually do a pretty good job if you use it correctly. Of course it's not professional but it's not bad either
