Guitar Player's Thread

I've used Trillian bass, but it still sucks. Be best if you'd just buy a cheap bass I think.
 
ok then maybe this is a stupid question, but whatever, i don't care...is it advisable for me to record with my guitar plugged into the pod using a bass amp and cab and then using the pitch shifter? or would that fuck something up...
 
For fuck sake, how do you guys record? :lol: dont tell me you record the sound coming from your digital amp instead of recording the direct signal coming from the guitar and using your amp software as a plugin. You can change the sounds afterwards, adjust everything to make it fit together.
And tbh I never used a pitch shifter for somethign like that (I guess), but you could try that. Octava effects was what I used in the past but whatever, I'm using my mic'ed acoustic bass nowadys..
 
Nah I dont really care about that, but this way it would be a lot easier for you guys to get decent tones and you would have more options in the mixing process :)
