Well.. My amp (Line 6 Spider III) is getting fixed so I need to use a pedal for distortion.. I use the MT-2 as well . It's really noisy/lame.

^^yeah Ive tested spiders a couple of times...you like it? I didnt really find a sweet spot in it...too computeric sound in some way My friend uses a Boss ME-50 but on that the metal zone effect is completely ok...probly coz of all the extra EQ buttons and gizmos and noisegate too.

Yeah, it sounds a bit computer-ish but for metal it sounds great .

^^Yeah i just hope my new tubey ample Windsor will sound metal when i add the Kerry king equalizer to it. Ive been told it has enough gain but it needs to be shaped with a equalizer and a Kerry king one just might do it!

it shoudnt? AWWW SHIT! somethings wrong with my amp or cables or somethin oh well. Since i dont mean when i play...im not that sloppy at songs i can play well but im talking bout when im not playing its buzzing like mad. I thought somethin was wrong...or it coud be coz i play in front of my computer monitor...oh yeaah:O it was really silent when i playd in room fuck i forgot either way my MT-2 is noisy

I have been hearing from many people that think that Alexi's guitars should come with an EMG 81 instead of an EMG-HZ H4

Well i looked at the EMG website: http://www.emginc.com/displayproducts.asp?section=Guitar&categoryid=17&catalogid=164

It says there that the H4 designs are the same as the 81's

Is there anyone else who can give evidence for either side of the arguments?

too bad it's still pretty expensive I just bought a laney tube 50watt for under £50, the ENGL most probably pwns its ass, but until I find my bearings I don't think i'll be getting one to soon. You have such a great tone btw congrats on your gear once again.

^^Well hes not alone in that then I am fuckin newbish too but i will keep on training and ill be good in some time I concentrate on pretty much different stuff and switch between Drop c and D tunings...to get some variation...got tired of playing bodom for now
