That's pushing it dude. I've been playing for 7 years and I can't play his shit any cleaner than he can.

I'm not saying the stuff he writes is easy, but he writes stuff that he can't play, hence why he has the technique of 2 years playing. Just watch any of his "lessons". He doesn't consistency, nor rythm while playing leads.

He's on the same label as Andy Mckee atleast. Lately there's been hundreds of guitarists on youtube trying to be like Andy, but this guy is good, although i'm not into that kind of stuff.

I've been messing around with the Pod and i found a pretty good tone for rythm atleast. I'm not satisfied with the lead tone though.
I haven't changed any EQ or added effects to this, it's improvised over some chords i played.

No they havent. Heafys been using Gibson Les paul i think and a Dean Razorback . Neither of em are 7 string. Corey has been using Jackson Rhoads and Razorbacks/razorback Vs. also...neither of those are 7 stringed so the answer is no .

Recorded the chorus from Laid to rest by Sinergy, only the guitars. It's not really the same, but you should get the idea. I think i got a pretty nice tone, this is without any editing.
