Guitar Player's Thread

Just learn to mute properly, as Muffin said; working out how to effectively mute sort of just comes naturally, there's no real trick or method of "practising" it.

As i've said before, i think it's alot cooler when we hear them all at the same time when the jam is actually finished, but hey, i can't stop you! Sounds cool though, but your vibrato is too wide for my taste, it goes sharp from time to time.

I see what you mean, that's just how I roll, heh

this is my first version of my solo for the jam, what do you guys think?

Chances are, getting a V at your level will be more trouble than it is worth.

Lots of great reviews about the KKV. That Alexi model is probably not worth it at all. It's probably $100 more than it should be just because it has 'Alexi' in the title...although maybe that's the case with the KKV too, who knows. I dunno man...I would probably stick with the KKV if I were you.

Is this your first guitar? Then you shouldn't get a V nor a guitar with a floating bridge.

good job, Conti.
the vibrato though is abit too strong the note runs slightly too much out of the pitch

Ibanez RG Tremolo Series. For less than 500€ you have a guitar that totally PWNS Alexi 200 and KKV. BTW I tried KKV and IMO it's crap. It's just a piece of wood with some tribals and Kerry King's sig. I've not tried Alexi 200 but I supose it'll be the same. Ibanez ftw.
