I use .09's for E Standard on my Telecaster (cause its only for clean sound, thus that bright sound is <3)
.10's for E Standard on my Warlock
LTD F is using .11's in D Standard
and finally
.10 to .52 in Open C tuning, on my Jackson Kelly

I use 0.11 for my Gibson SG And 0.10 for my Jackson RR24

I have 9's on my Ibanez RG770 in E and 10's on my Jackson RR in D.

I tried 11's but I can't do my wide vibrato as well, and the thicker low strings make it hard for me to play on because my pick strokes are rather small.

My internet is not working properly atm so I can't tell you cos it's taking ages to load the vid, but I mean the last part of the ones the boy plays, the part before Vai tries to imitate him, fails and leaves. That whole part.

Can anyone recomend me a good book on music theory of guitar or how it applies to guitar, cos jsut knowing the notes on the fretboard isnt enough for me,. i want to be able to compsoe solos in various keys etc

This video is awesome, the beginning part is just sick, he does like 200 bpm with 2 fingers Although it's in Spanish, it's worth a watch just for the music.
