That Jeff Loomis vid was fucking sweet. I love his playing style, reminds me of myself tbh, just not as good. I think I will listen to his solo album again in a few days because I only listened to it once and wasn't really paying attention.

Do it! The album has a lot of cool moments that I didn't catch the first time listening to it too. It is one my most played albums of recent (just purchased it through Century Media few days ago)

did you mean "2.3 GB", or is it like, 1600x1200 with .wav encoded as sound?

To be exact, it's 22,8 GB big, that's what windows says. I ripped it from a DVD and the information says:
720x508
AC3-ACM codec
no compression (!)


I figured that I can cut and compress with VirtualDub. Any tips which compression method is the best and can be viewed in youtube? DivX?

EDIT: Argh, I'm tired of it. Now it created many little parts instead of two.

Remember DivX has some annoying size restrictions.
Maybe you'll need to change the copy mode (direct stream copy....) too. Then choose save file as .avi and wait

I think youtube takes the most common container formats.

You can try to follow this tutorial (it seems to be a good one):

Or else try the program "DVD Shrink".

And after that you can add the divx file to a splitted winrar archive.
