I only own the head, a friend got both. Don't know, I don't like it. I play it on a marshall cab.

siiick. any problems or things you dont like about it? the ultra channel is fucking awesome and i really like the clean to, a little bright in my opinion but still pretty good

I personally just use the crunch, I've had it about 2 years, once it blew a fuse but that was an easy fix... and i changed the tubes aswell. Took a bit of time to tweak but now it's sweet. I use master volume on max and just control using channel volumes... sounds better that way imo.

yeah thats what i do on my marshall, so you can drive the tubes without it being 100000 decibals. you just use the crunch? interesting. i thought the crunch was sort of flat compared to the ultra. how much was yours?

Yeah, I really like the crunch for some reason, got it sounding good I guess. I got the head off eBay for about $700 US or something... can't really remember, but it was a good deal.

I don't like the mids, I never turn it higher than 2. You should also keep in mind that it's not the most versatile amp ever. But if you only play metal like me that's not a problem.
Other than that, it's great. The footswitch is also a nice thingie to have.

yeah i see them all the time used for like 600-700 but there new for like 1200 haha

yeah i only play metal but shit mids at 2? thats pretty scooped
