I am always willing to invest in better guitar tone. Before I commit to an amount, what kind of audible difference are we talking about in tone here? Will I need to purchase the program for maximum functionality?
I have to say... again, this thread shows the pure awesomeness of this board
Actually, I got the same impression about NAT as Moonlapse did.
If you want to achieve something different than traditional impulses, you would probably need NAT3 as it makes series of snapshots and is able to capture dynamic stuff like speaker distortion.
Just saying that you should probably re-check to make sure you`re getting exactly what you have in mind.
The convenience here would be that there would only need to be one 'impulse' per mic position and we could dial the power amp ourselves. In theory that sounds ace to me.
