As for driving arrangements, I plan on going with Andy (and Kevin) in Andy's car. We don't have to worry about cars quite yet.

Like I said, if Dan ends up going, he will drive. The whole thing hinges on whether he a). has a job still and b). fixes his car in time. He has expressed interest in wanting to go and thinks the current room price is good and he could do it. So, I think he'll end up going and attending Friday-Sunday but staying with us the whole time. This might just be me hoping but yeah.

Would love to have Dan. However, if he drives, I'll take my own car. Kris can join me and whoever else values their lives.
Dan is a scary driver but his car is extremely awesome and he has never once been in a serious accident (I think he loves his WRX more than he loves anything or anyone else in the world) so I'm fine with him.

I might actually be staying like 45 mins away with a friend so that I will not have to spend the $ on a hotel. So I will let you guys know. I will be partying with most of you anyhow so it'll all be fine. So excited.

I will be completely honest. It's very difficult to make a compromise like that. There is almost no difference between frequent partying with our contingent and sharing rooms with our contingent. We've almost never had people who would be with us most of the time then go away to their separate lodgings elsewhere for the night (and define "a night" -- we've stopped partying at 4 or 5 AM most nights). I really think that will be a difficult hassle for you. If you can bite the bullet and room with us, not only will that lower the cost for everyone, it will make your life a ton easier, and that's the point of this whole arrangement.
You know I'm saying this because you're an awesome person and we want you with us, and not because I'm stingy (trust me I can afford it either way). Just my spiel.

OK if he's going, then I think I'll take him in my car separately while you and Kevin go with Dan. That is unless Kevin goes with Dan and you drive your car. If Kevin's in Portland then I can grab him on the way down.
Andrea also expressed interest but I don't think she realizes how much cash she would have to commit.

I may be in Boston the weekend of the 23rd-25th. If that's when you're there I will be more likely to go down.
