Fuck no it does not. It may be the more accomplished album in terms of songwriting and diversity, but Kill Em All is the perfect early 80s metal album from that time period between the NWOBHM and thrash. And "Seek and Destroy" is pretty much the best song they ever did.

RtL and MoP annihilate every other release by both bands, and I'm a big fan of Rust in Peace, Peace Sells, AJFA and Kill "Em All.

Meh on MoP. The straight thrash songs are too tepid for me nowadays. The title track is still badass, but it's also overplayed, so the only tracks that really keep me coming back are the mid-paced heavy songs like "The Thing that Should Not Be" and "Leper Messiah".

Killing Is My Business also annihilates Kill Em All.

I love both albums, and they are possibly my fav albums by both bands (maybe not Megadeth but it's close). But Kill Em All hits me right in my cheesy metalhead sweet spot. It's the perfect celebration of metal, with the exuberance and love of fun that is at the core of the vast majority of metal. It's not about politics over music like so much punk; even if a metal album has political lyrics, it's first and foremost about banging your head and getting that jolt of adrenaline, about screaming just for the joy of screaming. And Kill Em All is the perfect distillation of that essence, so it's the quintessential metal album as far as I'm concerned. Not that Killing Is My Business doesn't have that going on too, but it doesn't have that same charming, youthful innocence and feeling of exhilaration.

"Battery" is overrated and "Disposable Heroes" was always the weakest song on the album

... yeah those are both killer songs indeed. So are the title track and Welcome Home(Sanitarium).
"Welcome Home (Sanitarium)" was always kinda boring to me.

Disposable Heroes is a masterpiece beyond criticism, but Battery is pretty dull once you get past the intro. Easily the weakest song of the first three albums, possibly even first four.

Disposable Heroes is indeed bad ass and beyond criticism. Sanitarium also kicks ass. And boring? How? Amazing main riff, awesome emotional solos and thrashy/heavy in the last 1/3. Leper Messiah is also fucking killer, but the one under rated song for sure is Damage Inc. Killer, classic track.

i love the parts with vocals but it's pretty meandering and repetitive in between imo, could've been honed a lot more. 'master of puppets' is their perfect song to me.

Best Metallica song? Orion. Yep. Orion.

To Live Is To Die and the Call of Ktulu are also great. If you forced me to pick a non-instrumental I'd go with Fade to Black I guess.
