Damn, it amazes me how many close-minded metal fans there are out there.. The concept of subjectivity and perception of different tastes means nothing to so many people. Your musical tastes are not absolute.

On the topic, though, I've always liked the heavier side of them more, but I still really like their acoustic side and Mikael's clean vocals. I, personally thought Damnation was a great album, not my favorite though.

As for Ulver, I thought Blood Inside was genius. A bit weird at times, but it blew my mind.
