I saw on a post a little while back that peoples opinion of meshuggah seemed quite negative. Simple poll to try and convince myself that the majority of metal heads like meshuggah.
First of all if you dont like meshuggah FUCK YOU (lol)
Seriously though, vote away and prove me wrong if you dont like em.:Smokedev:

Terribly boring. I used to enjoy them quite a bit, but recently they've gotten old and tiring, every song is basically the same, with a few variations.

where's the "I think they're alright but not exactly my cup of tea" option?

And why should we try to convince you of anything? If a bunch of people don't like a band, so what? You shouldn't need the validation of GMD, nor should you feel it necessary for those who disagree with you to require your divine intervention if you do not agree with their taste/opinions/beliefs etc...

I'm not exactly sure where you're going with this.

Wow dude, its a poll. If you dont fit into a category more than the other dont vote. At the end of the day i dont give a fuck what you or anybody else thinks about it, i just did a poll for the sake of interest. Lay off the green my paranoid friend.

Meshuggah. Simple like or dislike poll

Even though that is the title of the post i feel i need to say once more its a simple like or dislike poll.

The only album of thiers that I like is the "I" EP. Meshuggah works much better in a concise, 20 minute one-song EP. I can't stand to listen to their full lengths all the way through- too monotonous. They clearly have talent, and created their own little niche sound, but they never really moved beyond said sound.

So I guess I'll vote dislike since I lean more towards that end.

A few excellent songs and I'm looking forward to seeing them live, but pretty dull in extended doses. I wouldn't choose to sit down and listen to a full Meshuggah album all the way through when I wanted a nice listening session. On the other hand, I *do* thoroughly enjoy learning their songs, and they are great when you wanna bust out a heavy tune or two in the car.

I remember the DJ blasting "Future Breed Machine" at the Metal Camp beach bar last time I was there - I hadn't heard it before and thought it was a kickass song. Every motherfucker on the beach was banging his/her head too, good times.
