I think you would be best to unregister from the forum, move to a remote town... and maybe change identities too.

But before you do, just remember

Metal orginated in ENGLAND!

... and considering this, why the hell hasnt England been added to this poll list? No Maiden, My Dying Bride, Black Sabbath, etc etc?

Well, some time ago, I would have thought this also, but America has been producing some noteworthy black metal in more recent times, not to mention bands like Agalloch.

 two complete idiots battling it out

Anyway... I think Europe and America probably have the same number of high-quality bands, and the same number of shit generic bands. Difference is, in Europe a lot of the high-quality bands look exactly the same as the generic bands, not to mention play the same type of music, so they're harder to tell apart. Therefore, American metal imo iirc ffs afaict tbqo imho ftw.

European scene without problems, they have: Katatonia, Anathema, Opeth, Tiamat, Moonspell, Esoteric, Poema Arcanvs, My Dying Bride, Shape of Despair, Abigor, Darkane etc.

American metal scene too much put it on commercial rails, not too much they have underground groups, so, i suppose to be they have in subgenre only this: Morbid Angel, Obituary, Dying Fetus, Daylight Dies, Agalloch and Nile i guess. Almost groups in states is totally cheap pop-corn shit, maybe i hope situation had change sometimes and... yeah, states have not bad Chimaira, Absu and Evoken.
I find myself agreeing with you agian.
..."total pop-corn" is my new phrase for corny pop music.

Even though there are a lot of great music scenes from America, for example the Florida death metal scene, I listen to a lot more European bands, so I have to say European.

I definitely would disagree with this though, as I hate both Dragonforce and Children of Bodom incredibly, and Symphony X is one of my favorite bands. I've never heard of Cynic.

Cynic is probably the most talented of those bands, however lack any commerical appeal, and lack a lot of appeal to most metal listeners due to heavy usage of other styles of music. I like 3 of these bands, the exception being CoB.

I think the sarcasm went far over your head.

lmao you're a waste of a person

And yours as well. And I haven't heard you once mention a metal band you actually liked. So stop whining.
