It's the best Diabolical Masquerade I've heard so far (although I haven't heard "Nightwork" just yet). It's a soundtrack to a movie that got put on the back-burner after another similar blockbuster movie was released, but Anders had already made the music. Check out the samples here if you want to hear some. Great album...blows "Ravendusk In My Heart" and "The Phantom Lodge" away, I think.

Cryptopsy is a little more than gutteral screams and brutality. They have that, granted, but from a theoretical point of view, some of their work is well-composed.

I could have played something better, like the Chasm, or Diabolical Masquerade(that shit kicks ass, man--amazing!), but I just wanted to see his face when the blastbeats and vocals came in on "Cold Hate..."

any ideas to what the similar blockbuster was? i think it was final destination but thats not definate.

i hadnt noticed this thread before. it was really fun to read it from beginning to end. and i learnt a lot. this was BOSS!

so, like, am i to understand he would have thought the same thing if you had played some death (like spiritcrusher) or errr...atheist? like any florida tech death would do the trick, too?
