Katatonia "Brave Murder Day" is overrated and so are all the other albums they've put out since. Dance of December Souls is their classic album.

WTF?!? i disagree completely. DoDS is good, but BMD is an unmatched masterpiece. the albums that followed it range from good (LFDGD) over great (DO) to brilliant (VE)

Agreed. I simply don't like Kreator and most bands influenced by them.Not huge on thrash anyway.

I can't decide if the darkness of SoH trumps the preceding cyclone that is RiB. Both have their superior qualities. I'd probably listen to RiB all the way through more often, due to its brevity and flow.

SoH for me was the start of the decline for Arraya's vocals. my favorite releae for slayer is the Haunting the Chapel ep.
