Nirvana without question...I'm so sick of hearing how they "changed the face of rock" and all of this bullshit. The guy was an average guitar player and they had a few good songs mixed in with a lot of CRAP....By the way Tool is not overrated at all. If anything they're underrated. They are all excellent musicians and Maynard is a fantastic vocalist. It's too bad radio likes to shove them down everyones throat lately. Radio is what gives people bad impressions of good bands, simply because people get tired of hearing them.

Iced Earth, they 're good in what they're doing but not THAT good. Too much hype around them... Nile comes second, somehow I think they've become too famous and they failed to impress me.

Nirvana is definitely overrated. They were good, but not that good. Soundgarden, AIC, and Pearl Jam are all better. As for Tool, what the hell are you talking about? Tool is one of the most creative and interesting bands I have ever heard, and just because they sell a lot of albums doesn't make them overrated.

I don't know how you could even have Hendrix, Zeppelin, and the Beatles on this list, they were all creators of metal and rock today. They are classic bands/artist.
