NBA Playoffs

Yay, the Celtics finally knocked out the 37 win Atlanta Hawks. Time for a parade!
Wow... you blew out a 37 win 8th seeded team with no playoff experience in a game 7 at home! I smell championship.
at least the bulls made the playoffs though..
they'd kill any of your teams

 (Well, maybe mine, but I don't see anybody coming out of the East and beating the Western champion, except maybe the Celtics.)

How bout them Hornets? Got the first game from the Spurs. That was unexpected. I doubt they make it past (despite what Hollinger says about them winning in 7). I think that the Spurs win in 6.

I'm seeing Spurs/Celtics in the Finals, and that would be a great series, but the Lakers, Cavs, Pistons, and Hornets won't take any of that lying down. Gotta go with the Spurs for the Championship, though. Great playoff season in my opinion, but it really sucks to be a Mavs fan right now (obviously).

I elaborated and reinforced the idea with a thicker air of sarcasm... I was working with you.

Just stating the truth about game-7, and hmmm... both your teams are doing what right now?
No parades just yet, save them for after our teams win Championships.

Was being sarcastic as well.
I'll enjoy whatever I get from the C's right now. They have turned things around quicker than I thought, even with the allstar additions- I was expecting 2+ years get everyone on the same page and be a real threat. Given thier season record and hype, the pressure is on them. Right now I'm not sure if they will win the conference championship let alone the NBA title? Though they probably have as good a chance as anyone.

Boston wins, in a game that looked like a bad girls h.s. game.

I think King D jinxed King James, make sure to post before game-2 starts. I didn't think it was physically possible for Lebron to play that bad!

If they play New Orleans they have a chance, but they're not beating the Lakers or the Spurs. I don't see Rondo playing well all post season.

Plus, the West is just too fast and talented for the East. It's a totally different style of basketball, and yes the Celtics are one of the few who would hold their own in the West, they're still not with the Spurs or the Lakers.
They had better hope the don't play the Lakers.. they'll do to them what the Hawks did for 3 games... only using Kobe and Gasol to run instead of Johnson and Horford.

I hope they get that far. Hell, I just want to get thru game-2 on Thurs.
Orleans could take them as well. The West has been better overall for sometime now, but I would still give the Cs a chance. Only because of thier depth hopefully keeping the older Stars from running into the ground.

awe man how can ya underate boston like that?
theyve got 3 veteran star players, and a young point guard that can run through zones and create plays at a moments notice.

theyve got the defensive player of the year/top contender for mvp. down low he would dominate gasol and make tough shots for kobe when he came down low.

they also have ray allen whos one of the best shooters of all time, and paul peirce who is an all star with lots of experiance.
boston are just a powerhouse. theyre not unbeatable but when they have to win games, they dont lose games.

lakes vs celtics would be an epic fuckin series though
