NFL 2010

Yeah, I want to be clear I am saying he is mediocre, not terrible. He is "shitty" compared to Peyton.

Edit: I could also point out that Tony Romo's career rtg is 92(just shy of 93) but I havent been rounding up so won't now, and that his lowest career rtg was 91, when the Cowboys also had their worst record with him at QB at 9-7.

So don't start fanboi-ing me with Eli and making Tony Homo jokes when the stats speak for themselves.

Edit #2: NFL Career Passing Leaders

Eli Manning is number 55. Tony Romo is number 4. Eat it.

You can talk stats all you want but the bottom line is that Eli is clutch and Romo is a choke...

Talk to me at the end of the year when Eli makes you and your QB look stupid, AGAIN!

Clutch? That's a pretty vague term and one that I am assuming you are using in it's loosest form. To keep bringing up the 2007 playoffs (when a number of the Cowboys played poorly, and the true choke was from , who could have taken that to the house.) is invalid.

The only clutch moment in Eli's career was David Tyree's clutching of the ball against his helmet with Rodney Harrison too amazed at the ridiculousness of the catch to simply punch it away.

I tried to find a stat list of 4th quarter comebacks to prove this point scientifically erroneous, but all I could find was Marino and Elway comparisons.

Schottenheimer is such a BAD coordinator, I know that taking the kid gloves off Sanchez was a good decision, but having him throw the ball 40+ times when the running game is doing damn well was just dumb and almost cost them huge more than a few times.

Stop rooting for the Jets ffs. Stick with the Saints who are at least a little more respectable, although probably just as fucking annoying because of all the ballwashing and the "waaaa we deserved to go undefeated!!!!" moaning from last year and then beating my Colts in the fucking Super Bowl.

goddamnit

I really wasn't. I watched the game and was just saying what I saw.

Dallas Cryboys:

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP)—Coach Brad Childress says the Minnesota Vikings were not trying to run up the score late in last season’s 34-3 playoff victory over the Dallas Cowboys.

Brett Favre(notes) threw a touchdown pass to Visanthe Shiancoe(notes) with less than 2 minutes to play in the game for the final margin. The play prompted Dallas linebacker Keith Brooking(notes) to confront Childress on the sideline and call it “disgusting and classless,” accusing the Vikings of running up the score.

“People can do what they want,” coach Wade Phillips said on Wednesday. “That’s what they chose to do. It’s not what I would’ve done.”

The Vikings led 27-3 late in the game when they had a fourth-and-3 at the Cowboys 11. Favre found a wide open Shiancoe for his fourth touchdown pass of the day with 1:55 to go.

Childress said Thursday the team was just trying to get a first down to keep the clock moving, and ultimately scored instead. He says the Cowboys were still blitzing aggressively late in the game, so the Vikings had no choice but to throw the ball.

“If you’re slamming people at the formation nothing says that you have to go in there and have everybody shorten their necks so they stop us,” Childress said. “Now we have to make a decision, ‘Do we have to kick a field goal?’ The easiest thing is to get a first down.

“That’s all we’re trying to do is get a first down. We happened to score. It would probably be a good idea to cover the guy. Generally on defense you have to cover the deep plays.”

Shiancoe was equally baffled by the accusations. He pointed to the Cowboys using their timeouts late in the fourth quarter and continuing to blitz despite being down 24 points.

“You keep on blitzing though,” Shiancoe said Thursday. “I mean c’mon man … I’m not trying to say anything bad about them, but if you keep on blitzing, what do you want us to do? Just keep on taking hits to the mouth?”

Cowboys yet again find away to lose a game they should have won.

Punting on 4th and 5 with the game on the line. Bitch move the TMQ will certainly point out.
