I was pretty encouraged with how the Vikes played, with the exception of a few key mistakes. Unfortunately, it looks like we're just playing for respect at this point. The playoffs seem unlikely at best.

So the Saints beat the Steelers, what an inconsistent team these Saints are this year. Get their shit beat by the Browns then convincingly beat the Steelers.

Pretty interesting how the Colts are only half a game out of #1 in the conference when they started the season out pretty shakey. I expect to see some asskickery by the Colts tonight.

The Texans will be tough but I see the Colts beating them out. But the Saints did beat the Steelers which I didn't think would happen or Patriots being 6-1.

I'm not surprised at all that the Steelers lost, in fact I believe I predicted them to lose this game. Oh well, non-conference loss, not a huge blow. They couldn't get their offense going until late, and when they did, Heath Miller fumbled deep in Saints territory, and the defense couldn't get the ball back again. The game was closer to 20-10, but they were definitely beaten. Hopefully they don't get upset by the Bengals next week. Then the week after home against the Patriots should be good.

Thank you to our staff for taking a chance on Legarrette Blount. I just hope he keeps his nose clean, cause he is a beast.
Next week is a showdown with the Dirty Birds for 1st place in the NFC South. We haven't beat a team yet with a winning record, but this might just be the week.

The Colts (Manning) third down efficiency and ability to find, not just the holes in the defense, but the protection slides is incredible.
Matt Schaub can not handle a pass rush, I mean the guy was throwing the ball blind.
I have no idea what the Texans were doing. They gave up on the run much too soon, like they were down by 14 coming out. Ya gotta love the Colts tho. Get up quick with the best QB in the league. Force the opposition to play your game and play with your speed on the line as well as in the secondary.
A note to the league, if you want to compete or beat the Colts - Run the fucking ball!

Pretty much. When teams successfully (not like it's hard at all) run against the Colts they usually keep the game close and at least have a fighter's chance at the end. This is why Jacksonville always plays Indy so well. MJD is a little bastard and routinely rapes the Colts defense. More often than not the Colts come out on top though, mostly because of Manning.

I don't see why not. There's no fing way Irsay and Polian of all people are going to let Manning just walk because he asks for too much money. Manning is the franchise. I'd rather see him cut the entire time and sign nothing but backups than let Manning walk, which is exactly how they see it as well.
