Well, just to kind of play Devil's advocate here, the first time the French used democracy with Napoleon in charge, it went to show that Democracy had its flaws, and when used right, it can be a very effective governing tool.

If communism didn't have greedy rulers like Napoleon with democracy, and communist rulers didn't sell-out for power, then it could work pretty good. The idea that all property is shared by the public (one of the only ideas I agree about Marxism), it would be all right.

Nationalism could work possibly as well. Under the conditions that your country is isolated, then the desire to attack and fight would be minimal. Also, nationalism proves to be effective when on the defense in war. You can't really dismiss anything with only one experiment to go by. So I suggest that we round up all the white dudes, skin heads, red necks etc... and send them to Antarctica to govern themselves. I'm sure that when they're done doing white power solutes, they'll realize half their "bretheren for the cause" froze to death and they'll get there priorities straight.

there are bands who advocate national socialism? thats funny! personally i believe that's a perfectly valid form of expression. however, it's kinda embarrasing that adults would choose to do so. isn't similar to people who advertise the Confederate flag? there must be something better people could be doing with their time.......say what you want about national socialism - just remember hundreds of millions of other people in the 1930's and '40s didnt find it very amusing. not that a majority is always right, but come on. they were trying to exterminate very large groups of people. that may have worked in the 1500s, but it's not very fashionable anymore.
